The Joliet area was the toast of Champaign on Saturday, and the results again proved how powerful our high school football is. Lemont, playing in a championship game for the first time, lost to a dominate Joliet Catholic Academy machine. Underdog Morris challenged No. 1-ranked Metamora to the bitter end before coming up short.
